Egan Pemberton

Ministry Fellow

Egan Pemberton has served as Grace Church's Ministry Fellow since July 2023. Before the start of his ministry at Grace Church, he completed an year of service with the Episcopal Service Corps: living in intentional community with four other young adults, volunteering with local organizations, and serving as an acolyte and Vestry member. In his capacity as Ministry Fellow, Egan coordinates our parish's volunteers, serves at the weekday and Sunday Masses, oversees the Food Ministry's weekly grocery distribution, dabbles in social media and communications, and has learned a lot about church property management during his time here. The best part of his week is getting to know new visitors and catching up with familiar faces at our unbeatable coffee hour.

Egan holds a bachelor's degree in English from Bryn Mawr College, with a focus on Film Studies. He wrote his thesis on two contemporary horror movies. In his spare time, he continues to enjoy watching new films (horror and not) and creating linocut prints. Grace Church introduced him to the art of Gregorian chant, which he has now taken up as a prayerful practice and pastime. Pray that his voice not offend any ears.
